Pump.fun Alpha Signals: Smart Tracking, Live Token Alerts
Finding promising Pump.fun tokens is a filtering problem. PumpFunData Alpha Signals uses smart tracking and algorithmic filtering to select tokens and deliver scored alerts to your bot over WebSocket.
Why use Pump.fun Alpha Signals?
In our April–June 2026 historical results, the baseline bonding rate was roughly 1%; selected tokens bonded at 38–47%. July–August baselines were closer to 2%, while our selected tokens stayed above 44%.
Across April–August, 11,651 of 26,068 selected tokens bonded (44.69%). See the monthly baseline comparison. These are historical bonding outcomes, not trading returns.
How the score is calculated
We weigh in profitable trader activity, token creator reputation, and patterns in successful coins to compute each token's score.
From token discovery to your trading bot
- Start with filtered candidates. Spend your research time evaluating selected tokens instead of scanning every launch.
- Get usable data directly. Token and pool addresses, scores and timestamps arrive as JSON, ready for your bot or watchlist.
- Keep your own strategy. Apply your entry, position sizing and exit rules. Use our Pump.fun backtesting guide to test them.
Connect to the Alpha Signals API with Python
Activate Alpha on your account page and use your existing API key. Access includes one WebSocket connection per subscription. No auto-renewal.
With Python 3.10+, install the client and set your key:
pip install "websockets>=14"export PUMPFUNDATA_API_KEY="pfd_your_customer_key"Save this as alpha_client.py and run python alpha_client.py:
import asyncioimport jsonimport osfrom collections import deque
from websockets.asyncio.client import connectfrom websockets.exceptions import ConnectionClosed, InvalidStatus
URL = "wss://api.pumpfundata.com/alpha/alerts"# Append "?replay=100" to URL for recent updates on each connection.API_KEY = os.environ["PUMPFUNDATA_API_KEY"]
async def main(): seen = deque(maxlen=100) try: async for ws in connect( URL, additional_headers={"X-API-Key": API_KEY}, ping_interval=20, ping_timeout=20, ): try: async for message in ws: alert = json.loads(message) if alert["alert_id"] in seen: continue print(alert["token_mint"], alert["score"], flush=True) # Pass the alert to your own analysis here. seen.append(alert["alert_id"]) except ConnectionClosed: # Reconnect using the same URL, including optional replay. continue except InvalidStatus as error: print(f"Connection rejected: HTTP {error.response.status_code}") print("Check your API key, access expiry, and existing connection.")
asyncio.run(main())The client reconnects after temporary disconnections. Subscribers on either plan can add ?replay=100 to the WebSocket URL to catch up on up to 100 recent updates before continuing live. The example deduplicates using alert_id. See the Alpha Signals API documentation for the schema and connection errors.
Q&A
Why sell signals instead of just trading them?
Subscription revenue monetizes our research without requiring additional trading capital or taking on the volatility of trading P&L.
Can I connect more than one bot?
Each subscription includes one WebSocket connection at a time.
Does Alpha renew automatically?
No auto-renewal. Renew with credits when you choose. Renewing early adds time to your current expiry.
What happens if my connection drops?
Reconnect to resume the live feed. Both plans include optional replay of up to 100 recent updates; deduplicate using alert_id.
What does the score mean?
Our algorithm's numeric assessment at score_timestamp. It is not a probability but you can use it as an input feature.
